下記のようにパケットサイズ(MTU)が1500bytesまでしか、

通信できない場合はSwitch側でジャンボフレーム（Jumbo Frame）設定がされていない可能性があります。

※ジャンボフレームの設定をしてあると、8972までPingで通信できる。

Packetサイズが1500bytesまではPingが通る

# ping 192.168.0.2 -s 1472 -I eth1

Packetサイズ1500以上になると、Pingが通らない
